General Info

Tucked behind the new Agencia Tributaria, right next to Centro Médico Zaraiche, Galsó Restaurante-Cafetería is one of those places you stumble upon once-and then keep coming back to. The location might feel slightly hidden at first, but that only adds to its charm. It’s a relaxed, welcoming restaurant where the atmosphere feels as genuine as the food on the menu.

From the moment you walk in, the experience leans toward comfort and simplicity. The space is easy to navigate, with thoughtful touches like a wheelchair accessible parking lot, making it inclusive for everyone. Whether you’re stopping by for a casual breakfast, a laid-back lunch, or planning dinner with friends, the table service keeps things smooth and attentive without ever feeling overbearing.

The menu is where Galsó truly shines. If you enjoy classic Spanish flavors, the Calamares Andaluza is a must-try-crispy, golden, and perfectly seasoned. On lighter days, the Tostada de Atún Queso Fresco y Aguacate hits the right balance between fresh and satisfying, while the Tosta de Salmón y Aguacate brings a slightly richer, more indulgent twist. Each dish feels carefully prepared, as if the kitchen genuinely cares about every plate that leaves the counter.

What stood out most during my visit was the pacing. Even during busier hours, especially in the evening when dinner reservations are recommended, the service remains efficient. You can settle in, enjoy your meal, and not feel rushed. It’s the kind of place where conversations flow naturally, helped along by good food and a relaxed setting.

And then there’s the sweet side of things. The Postre de Chocolate is exactly what you’d hope for-rich, satisfying, and a perfect way to end the meal. Pair it with their Café con Encanto en Murcia, and you’ll understand why many guests linger just a little longer than planned.

Practical touches like NFC mobile payments make the experience even more convenient, especially if you’re just dropping in for a quick coffee or snack. At the same time, the overall vibe still feels warm and personal, which is something not every restaurant manages to achieve.

Looking through reviews and observing other diners, it’s clear that Galsó Restaurante-Cafetería has built a loyal following. People don’t just come for the food-they come for the consistency, the welcoming service, and the feeling that they’ve found a local spot worth sharing.

What customers say?

“ I had an amazing experience. I enjoyed some delicious clams, and the €40 set menu is definitely worth it. The quality of the food and the service were exceptional. Highly recommended! ”

“ 100% recommended because, although the menu isn't extensive, everything they offer looks delicious, and what I tried was very tasty. Both the "matrimonias" (a combination of meat, onion, and onion) and the house special "caballitos" (a type of sandwich) are flavorful and perfect for whetting your appetite. The avocado tempura has a touch of spice that's absolutely divine, as are their broken eggs with truffle. The vegetable and mushroom pie with demi-glace is also to die for. And please save room for dessert because the cheesecake and the fried milk are delicious. The restaurant has a simple yet elegant decor, and the service is very attentive and helpful. If you're in the area, it's definitely worth a visit. ”

“ The place is very spacious, with a beautiful, modern design. Its huge windows allow for plenty of light. I'm not sure what the acoustics are like, since there were only a few people there when I visited, but that's a problem in many of these modern cafes where the entire space is open-plan. The menu is very good; it's improved, and what we had was delicious. The service is professional and pleasant, but a little faster service would have been appreciated. I think they close early in the evenings; perhaps extending the hours would be a good idea, also considering that the menu in this area of Murcia is quite limited. There's a wonderful outdoor terrace, next to the garden and the playground. ”

“ This is the first time I've been asked at the end of a meal if I liked the dishes and to rate them. Unheard of for me, but it speaks volumes about a restaurant committed to improving and adapting to the tastes of its clientele. The dishes we tried were very good, with an original touch and great flavor. It's clear they want to establish their own identity. In addition to the food, I'd also like to highlight the service. The waitresses were very friendly, always smiling, and provided exquisite service. Basically, they are truly PROFESSIONALS, an example for other businesses in the sector to follow. Congratulations on your drive to improve. ”

“ A place with a relaxed, relaxing atmosphere and a good price-performance ratio. We went with my 5-year-old, and we'd like to point out that they have a children's menu. The way they serve their fries is unique! I recommend the glazed horseradish with shrimp béchamel, tuna tartar with guacamole, and fried eggs with black truffle (it's quite filling and is exquisite!), and for dessert, the homemade cheesecake (amazing!). ”

“ We had the 15.95 menu and found it to be great value. Croquettes, seafood, salad, salmon, oxtail cannelloni, and carrot cake. Everything was delicious and you got a good amount. Very attentive service. The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating. We'll definitely be back. ”

- LG -

“ They have two tasting menus, one for €15.95 and the other for €17.95. We ordered the first because the oxtail cannelloni really caught our attention, but I have to say that the salmon skewer and carrot cake for dessert left us wanting more. I highly recommend it. The service was very polite and attentive. The timing was perfect between courses. And the price was perfect. ”

- Enrique PM -

“ Stylish cafe in a well kept area. Staff were super nice. Because of the state of alarm we only stopped for a good cup of coffee on a cold wet day. Would go back again. ”
